Twinkles and smiles! - Teamwork Tuesday - Priscilla

A twinkle in her eyes...

And a beautiful smile!

From the look on her face...

You'd think just everything was going her way!

But NO...

Miss Priscilla is waiting in an orphanage...

Waiting for a Mama to see her smile...

Waiting to win a Papa's heart...

How has such a beauty been passed by?

Why haven't her Mom and Dad found her yet?

This sweet beauty with the sunshine smile and sparkling eyes...

Is waiting to be loved!

Waiting to bless Mom's heart with her radiant smile...

And be the pride of Daddy's life...

Where are they?

Is it possible that you or one of your friends could be her Mom or Dad?

To read more about Priscilla or donate to her adoption grant fund - Click Here!

Please share her beautiful face and help her family find her!

Be a part of Taylor's Miracle!

Have you seen her?

This is beautiful Taylor...

She is waiting in an orphanage...

But it doesn't have to be for long!!!!

She has a family who love her dearly...

A Mom and Dad and big brother who are anxious to bring her home...

To give her the love she's been waiting for!

They already had a submitted dossier in country...

The needed update has been sent to join it...

They have been told that they may be traveling as early as JUNE 7 or 11!!!

While this is WONDERFUL news...

There is one BIG problem...

MONEY...

If sufficient money is not raised Taylor will have to wait 6 months or more...

Paperwork may have to be redone (which would increase the cost)...

But if the money can be found...

Taylor can come home very SOON!

Seem Impossible???

Humanly, yes...

But NOT with God!

He can move the biggest mountains...

Taylor needs a miracle...

Can you help to chip away at the mountain?

Whether you can give $5, $500, or $5,000...

You can be a part of bringing Taylor home...

A part of moving her mountain...

A part of a Miracle!

Let's save her from spending unnecessary time in the orphanage!

Her family is ready...

The ONLY thing standing in the way is the money...

Can you help by your prayers, donations, or even by sharing this need on your blog or facebook?

Here is Taylor's family's Reece's Rainbow page where you can make a tax-deductible donation...

And here is the family blog where you can read about the family and leave encouraging comments to bolster their courage!

*****

UPDATE!

Taylor's family is scheduled to travel June 16!!!

I think they have purchased tickets already - but a lot of money still needs to be raised!

Charming Beau on Video!

Handsome...

Smart...

Friendly and polite...

Can entertain himself for hours with puzzles...

Though raised in an orphanage...

He seems as though he's been raised in a family!

He is expected to do very well in school....

He's 7 years old...

And has already learned some spelling, writing, counting and reading!

He is even good about brushing his teeth and combing his hair...

And he likes things clean and tidy!

(His Mom will love that!)

Despite his cerebral palsy he can walk (and quickly too! - Check out the video below!)...

Since the videos were taken he has had surgery to help him walk even better!

It is so wonderful to have videos of Beau!

He comes alive in the video and is just darling!

Just wait till his Mama sees him...

She won't be able to resist his cuteness!

This first video was taken some time ago...

It shows him eating, walking, getting ready for bed, and reciting a poem...

This second video was taken early this year not long before his surgery...

What a charming little boy!

Just waiting for a family that's all his own...

Is he yours?

****

Please share Beau's story and video with others...

Let's find his Mom and Dad!

You can read Beau's profile or donate to his adoption fund HERE!

Thanks to Daneille at The Wonder of Boys for the videos and some of the information about Beau!

Ready for the beach! Teamwork Tuesday - Darryl

He is said to be "a sweet, sunny little boy"...

Just look at that smile!

It's almost as if he's thought of a little joke and he's laughing to himself!

Some other descriptive words that are used of this boy are...

Active...

Friendly...

Social!

Doesn't he sound like a nice little boy?

He's almost 5...

With a birthday next month!

How does a beach party sound?

What a BIG ball for a little boy!

A great BIG beach ball!

Now where's the beach?

Can't you see him playing ball with Papa on the beach...

And building sandcastles?

Can you see his glee as he excitedly watches for the waves to smash the castle?

Going wading while holding tight to Papa's hand?

Can you see him swinging at the park?

Playing tag with brothers and sisters?

Playing trucks with his brother?

Playing "fetch" with the dog in the yard?

Such simple pleasures would make his day!

Oh...

If ONLY he had the opportunity to do these things!

He could...

If he had a Mama and Papa to love him...

And give him these simple opportunities for joy!

But sadly he waits in an orphanage...

He will probably never see the beach...

Unless someone chooses him!

What's worse he'll never know the love of a family...

Never know how special he is...

Or how much God loves him....

Is he yours?

How long?

Said to be spunky...

With a beautiful smile...

His face would light up right AFTER a picture was taken...

But can you imagine it there?

See a sparkle in his eye and a bright sunny smile?

When another child's mom saw him he was very interested in what she was doing...

This Mama saw this engaging boy in 2008...

Why is he still waiting in 2012?

Sadly because he is not getting the stretching he needs during his very long wait...

His muscles are getting tighter...

How long must he wait to be free?

How long till HIS Mama comes?

How long till he knows he is special?

How long till the long boring days are over...

And he receives the love and stimulation he longs for?

Keep hanging on dear Kiril!

Surely your Mama is out there somewhere!

Surely your Papa will come!

I hope they will be able to see the irresistible smile that is hiding in your heart!

I hope your wait will be over soon...

And you will receive the hugs and snuggles you've been deprived of so long!

Did you see???!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Silas is on the My Family Found Me page!!!!!!

He's one of my special little boys and I'm so happy that he will NOT have to be bedridden for life!

He will receive the love and care his heart has been yearning for!

What's more - 8 or 9 other children joined the My Family Found Me page in the last 24-30 hours!!!!

What a wonderful day!

I pray the process goes smoothly and fast...

So all these wonderful children can get home with their families as soon as they possibly can!

Teamwork Tuesday - Just a little boy...

I'm just a little boy...

I'd love to play trucks in your sandbox...

And ride a trike in the yard...

To learn to fly kites with Daddy...

And snuggle with stories at bedtime...

I'm already 5 but still longing...

For someone to show me for sure...

That I'm loved and I'm special...

And have a safe happy future...

With all the love that I need to thrive!

But oh they say scary time's are coming!

Before long I'll take a car ride...

To what's called an "INSTITUTION"...

It's such a big word for a little boy!

They say I'll be there forever...

And there won't be any toys...

And no Mama to snuggle at bedtime...

And no rides on Daddy's shoulders...

Twill be oh so boring and lonely...

And frightful and scary too...

The noises will be scary...

And the food will be scarce...

I hope I can make it...

But what is the point?

With nothing to do forever...

I fear I'll just have to die.

Oh please don't you want me?

Can I be YOUR little boy?

Can you save me from my scary fate?

I'm just a little boy that is lonely...

I just need some love and some care...

A chance to play in the sandbox...

And snuggles and stories at night!

Oh please tell my Mama and Papa...

To come get me so very soon!

Before I must go to that terrible place...

And waste away till I die!

Give them a Chance!

Alisha and Kiersten have been listed on Reece's Rainbow for a long time...

Yet I don't often see their pictures in advocacy posts...

So often passed over...

Indeed I've passed them over too.

Mental delay...

Both of their profile's mention that there is no known reason for their delay...

Plus the scary words of additional regression as a result of their difficult life in the institution...

It's so easy to assume they couldn't amount to much...

Couldn't learn...

Hopeless cases...

BUT...

Have we given them a chance?

Alisha is 9 years old...

9 long years without a Mom or Dad...

9 years without love and stimulation or the opportunity to learn...

What would we be like if we were isolated for 9 years with no opportunity for growth and learning?

Would love make a difference?

Surely it would help!

She may never be a doctor or a lawyer...

But she could feel her Mama's hug...

She may never be an A+ student...

But she could surely learn something!

A whole new world would open to her!

What a blessing after years and years of deprivation!

And while we cannot predict the level of development she may reach...

She may just surprise us by surpassing our expectations!

Kiersten is 12 years old...

Thankfully we have a more recent picture of her (2012)...

Which gave her a little more visibility as her picture was shared...

Be she still looks like she's about given up...

12 years of deprivation...

12 years of hopelessness...

Where is a Mama to giver her a hug?

Where is a Papa to protect her and let her know she will never be alone and defenseless again?

These girls need a chance to show the world the difference love can make!

Can you see them with their hair grown out and fixed up pretty?

Can you see them sitting with Daddy and listening to a story?

Can you see them on the swing at the park with the breeze blowing through their hair?

Can you see a light in their eyes and a smile on their face?

Can you give them a chance for love by sharing their pictures?

Maybe, just maybe...

Their Mama might see it and know they are hers...

Their Daddy might see their plight and have his protective instincts stirred up to save his little girls...

Please give them a chance!

To see their profiles or donate to their adoption funds click on their names below!

Alisha and Kiersten are waiting for you!

Can you help?

What do you see? Teamwork Tuesday - Quinten

What do you see when you look in this face?

A sad baby?

Yes...

But it's not just sadness because he's sleepy and can't control his emotions...

It's not just because his favorite blankie's in the wash and he misses it...

Not because brother grabbed his toy...

Do you see the hopelessness...

The dejection...

The resignation?

"No one loves me...

"And I guess it will always be that way...

"I may as well give up..."

NO BABY DEAR!

Don't give up!

You are precious in God's sight!

We are shouting for you this week!

*****

Sweet little Quiten will be three years old in August...

He's already malnourished and sad...

Five years from now or ten...

If a picture is taken...

What will you see when you look in his face?

Will he look like Nathan?

7 years old...

Almost 14 years old...

Hollowed...

Hungry...

Hopeless...

Still imprisoned behind the bars of a crib?

Or will he look like this happy boy with his Papa?

Will he have round rosy cheeks...

A beautiful smile...

Sparkling eyes...

And a face full of joy?

It all depends...

If a Mama and Papa will see his potential...

Lift him from his crib...

And bring him home to love...

Encouragement...

Plenty of food...

Therapy...

His life can be beautiful and joyful and happy!

If not...

His destiny is a mental institute with nothing to do...

But to sit and moan...

And scratch and bite himself...

And rock for hours and hours...

Until he dies alone and unloved...

What a horrible fate!

*****

Which will it be?

This way?

Suffering alone...

Or this way?

Loved and cherished forever!

Your voice can make a difference for Quinten!

Please share his story...

And donate to his adoption fund if you are able!

Let's find his Mom and Dad!

And put a smile on that face!

They Made It!

THEY MADE IT!!!!

Two very special children...

Climbed high enough up the mountain recently...

To join the Moving Mountains page!

This very special page is reserved for children who have at least $2,500 in their grant funds...

It's other name is the "Sizable Grants" page.

And these two special kids made it!

Can you guess who they are?

One of them is "my" precious Victoria!

She now has $2,803.60 in her fund!

The other is Igor!

He has $5,000 in his fund!!!

These two children both have arthrogryposis...

Which basically means they have stiff joints.

Because of this physical limitation they have been institutionalized for LIFE...

Their only hope of escape is adoption!

Making it to the Moving Mountains page is a wonderful step towards finding a family...

International adoption is expensive...

The mountain of finances needed can be quite intimidating...

The more money a child has in their adoption grant fund...

The less formidable the remaining mountain looks...

And the stronger the encouragement for a family to take that "leap of faith" and commit to bring them home!

Congratulations to Victoria and Igor for this milestone on the journey to finding a family!

And THANKS so much to ALL who helped them get there!

While this is a milestone to celebrate...

There's an even bigger, more exciting milestone I'd like to see them hit...

The more people hear their story...

The better the chance that one of them will be their Mom or Dad...

So please consider sharing their faces and their story!

Donations are also welcome and are tax deductible through Reece's Rainbow!

The higher they can get on the mountain...

The better their chances for a family!

To learn more about these children or to donate, click on their names below!

While they are not related and can be adopted seperately...

It would likely be possible to adopt them together...

I think they'd make a great brother and sister pair...

Don't you?

This collage is from
Arthrogryposis Adoption Bloghttp://arthrogryposisadoption.blogspot.com/2012/04/victoria-and-igor-for-april.html

Their recent giveaway is what gave the final push to get Victoria and Igor over the magic $2,500 number...

And put them on the Moving Mountains page!
