Darling Marcia - struggling with transfer :(

(Thanks Patricia for the lovely collage!)

What a cutie!

I love the big picture in the middle.

Just waiting for Mama to come lift her out of bed...

Only she doesn't have a Mama...

Because of her hydrocephalus and spina bifida (which have both since been surgically treated)...

Marcia was deemed unfit for society and sent to an orphanage to live...

And then she was transferred to another institution...

The transfer has been really hard on this darling girl and she is not handling it well at all...

She is in desperate need of a Mom and Dad to give her the special attention she craves...

Love to heal her hurting heart...

She does have some leg weakness and other health challenges  from her spina bifida and hydrocephalus...

But that just makes her need a Mama even more!

Love will make such a difference in her life!

She will amaze you with what she can do in response to love and encouragement...

If you just give her a chance to show you!

Is she yours?

You can read more about Marcia HERE!

Even if you can't be her Mama...

You can help her by praying for her, sharing her story, or donating to her grant fund!

Thanks to Marcia's warrior for sharing more information about Marcia in the comments!

I'm sharing here so all can read the good news!

"For anyone considering Marcia, please know that doctors give her an *excellent* prognosis. They are optimistic that she will walk independently and otherwise catch up on orphanage related delays. She is cognitively unaffected by the hydrocephalus, which was successfully treated. She has so much potential - she just needs a family to give her a chance!"

  2. Thanks for the information about Marcia! I've edited this post to add this good news. Hopefully someone will see it and have courage to step forward! Not everyone reads comments so I wanted to be sure all readers have a chance to see it. Since I don't know your name, I was unable to credit you directly.

Thanks for advocating and fundraising for Marcia!
