The Agony of a Child... | Reece's Rainbow Waiting Child

Have you ever seen a child in prison?

If not, please take a look...

Sweet Jason is behind bars...

He is TIED to the bed rails...

Can you see his agony and distress?

Rocking, Rocking, Twisting, Turning...

But still he is not free...

Poor Jason lives in an institution...

He has been deprived of the love and cuddles...

The hugs and kisses...

The opportunity to play and explore and learn...

This sensory deprivation and lack of love have led him to stimulate himself in any way he can...

By rocking and twisting and turning...

And by hitting himself...

HARD...

You can see the bruise on his head in the picture below...

He is tied to protect him from himself...

And to keep him controlled since there aren't enough caregivers to keep up with such an active boy if he were on the loose...

Poor, sweet, child...

He needs therapy to help him cope and heal...

To help him maximize his potential...

He needs someone to believe in him and give him a chance...

A chance to know the joy of freedom and love!

It will not be easy...

But he is worth it...

His live matters...

He is a REAL child...

With a REAL heart...

That is STARVED for love and stimulation..

Jason (1)

Oh how he needs a chance!

Jason has a wonderful advocate who shared these videos and some of this information...

Please pray for Jason!

He DESPERATELY needs a family!

They almost look like brothers! | Reece's Rainbow Waiting Children

Sad ...

And forlorn...

Will no one ever choose us?

Please, Oh please...

Take note of us...

We need families too!

Guess which one of us this is?

Why this is darling Russ!

Just look how sweet and handsome...

He has grown to be!

And here's another...

Who is he?

Why this is hansom Arnold!

Look how much he's grown!

And he's even found a smile!

What fine sons these boys would make!

They almost look like brothers!

Oh where...

Oh WHERE can we find their Mom and Dad?

These sweet boys are facing transfer to an institution soon...

How dreadful that will be :(

Please hurry and share...

So their faces can be seen...

To help them find a family...

And save them from their fate!

Such lovely boys...

Deserve to know...

What family's all about!

Could either (or both?) of them be yours?

You can learn more about Arnold and Russ by clicking on their names in this post!

Guess Where?

Guess where this place is?

Ladyzhyn

No idea?

Ladyzhyn

Maybe this next picture will help...

It has to do with...

Emmitt 2013 (2)

"My" sweet Emmitt!

That's right!

These are pictures from Emmitt's orphanage complex - Orphanag 67!

Renovations Needed

There are three buildings at the institution...

But only TWO are in use...

Because of this the residents are overcrowded!

The third building is currently unusable due to disrepair...

But their is good news!

Life2Orphans has been given permission to help with renovations!

We have an opportunity to make a difference!

When the building is repaired the children will be able to be spread out between the buildings...

This will allow a place for a PLAY AREA in each of the rooms!

The first phase of the project is to raise $4000 for new windows...

To protect the children from the cold in winter...

And the sweltering heat of summer!

I hope that Emmtt will soon have a family...

Emmitt 2013 (2)

He has a small window of time yet to be adopted...

I pray he'll get out in time!

But there are many in his institution who sadly will not have that opportunity...

CZI_9025 2

And we have the opportunity to make their lives at least a little bit more comfortable!

If you are able I encourage you to make a donation by pressing the link below...

Life2Orphans/Orphanage 67 Fundraiser

Donations are tax deductible in the US!

Even if you are unable to donate at this time...

You can still make a difference by your prayers...

And by sharing this need with others!

Thanks SO much to Life2Orphans for giving permission to use these pictures from their website to help raise funds for this worthy project!

You can visit Life2Orphans at the link below:

They are helping many deserving orphans to have a better life!

I obtained the information above from Life2Orphans and from Debbie!

Choose ONE!!! | Reece's Rainbow Waiting Children

The zeros are gone for the kids over 6 years old...

(At least until more new kids are added)...

But there are many sweet orphans who still need to reach the goal...

$68

Of $100 in their adoption grant fund!

Jenny has compiled a list of these special kids on her blog HERE...

Have you stopped to look at them?

$68.50

There are so MANY on the list...

It can certainly be a bit overwhelming!

But I'd like to challenge you to take a look...

And choose one child...

$57

Any child from that list...

$50.40

To keep in your heart and mind...

$50

To "cheer" for till they reach their goal...

$50

The goal of reaching $100...

$58

Or better yet...

Till they reach the goal of finding a family!

$22.50

How can you choose when there are so many?

You could choose a child you've loved a long time...

$50

Or one you've never noticed before...

$45

You could choose a child that has the same name as your mother, sister, or friend...

Karen-12
$18

Or a child with a name you've never heard of...

$18

You could choose a child who has nearly reached the $100 goal...

$78

Or one whose just barely gotten started...

Adam
$5

No matter who you choose...

$7

Please know that that child is very special...

$69.50

A child that has a heart and feelings...

Leo
$50

A child that deserves love and hope!

$45

You may not be able to adopt your chosen child yourself...

$52.50

(Though if you can - please consider it!)

You may not have thousands of dollars to give them a full adoption grant...

$65

But you CAN make a difference!

$23

Here are a few ideas...

You could make their picture your desktop background...

$50.60

Or the background on your cellphone...

$50

Or you could put their picture on your refrigerator or bathroom mirror...

Navid 1
$5

To remind you to pray for them often!

You could put their picture on a jar with hole in the lid...

$5

To collect change for their grant fund!

You could share them on your blog or on Facebook...

$5

What they really need is to be seen and noticed!

David 126
$5

If no one sees their face...

Jason
$50
If no one knows they are there...

$56.70
If no one knows their plight...

$45

Then no one can make a difference!

Gene2
Gene
$10

You may not have time to look through the whole long list...

But I hope you have time to choose one!

$22.50

Choose, Care, Pray, Share...

$20

You CAN make a difference!

$10

Please do!!!!

*****

I've listed 34 children here...

But there are many more!

And choose your child today!

*****

Before I go I want to congratulate my sweet buddy Jordan...

(And THANK his kind benefactor!)

He met his $100 goal!!!

He's still waiting for a family though...

Please consider him!

*****

And as always please continue to pray for Emmitt!!!
