Miracles Needed! Please Pray!!!!

I want to share with you two families and their children who desperately need our prayers!

This is Nathaniel

Nathanael in March/April

He has a family that wants to adopt him!

They have ALREADY completed their dossier.

Because hydrocephalus is not on the current "approved" special needs list...

They have been WAITING for the list to be updated so their dossier can be submitted.

This in and of itself needs prayer!

But...

They just received word that Nathaniel's birth Mom

(who has already given up her rights)

will CONTEST his adoption!

The family is praying for God to change his mother's heart!

Without surgery to take care of his hydrocephalus...

Nathaniel will DIE!

He needs medical attention urgently!

The more the pressure builds up in his head, the more brain damage is likely to happen!

Imagine the headaches he must have!

Please pray for deliverance for this sweet boy quickly!

You can visit the family blog here!

I'm sure they would love to know you are praying!

The second prayer request is for Bradley!

Bradley and his two brothers...

Bryant
and Brooks

Have a family working hard to get through the paperwork to bring them home!

Bradley, the oldest, is deaf.

Because of his age he is due to be transferred!

If this happens, his adoption will be more complicated -- maybe impossible!

Quoting from the family blog...

"I asked the question:"I know it would be more difficult, but is it still possible to get him out if he's transferred?"

"Nancy's answer: It totally depends where he gets transferred to, some places just do not allow adoptions at all and if it is very far away then you will need 2 dossiers and 2 court dates and you would be doing a totally separate adoption ($9k)"

Pray that if possible, he will not be transferred before his family can get to him!

And pray that if he is transferred, he will still be able to be adopted without added expense!

You can visit the family blog here to learn more, and to let the family know you are praying!

Update: Bradley's family wrote an update yesterday(Thursday) with more specific ways to pray!

Hear is the post:

Please click on it so you will have more detail for your prayers!

Thanks for praying!

Passport Emergency!!!

Please note -- this post has been updated at the end!!!

Be sure to read the update before taking action!!!

God is working -- Keep Praying!

See this sweet boy?

This is Tanner.

He HAS a family working very hard to bring him home!

BUT

This week something terrible happened...

The family was robbed on Oct. 12.

The thief took some of their electronics...

And also took a box that contained their passports, birth certificates, and other important adoption documents!

They are trying so hard to meet the deadline to have their dossier submitted before Tanner's country closes for the holidays!

They need to have everything finished by early November...

They urgently need to replace their passports order to be able to RE-DO 17 documents for their adoption.

They don't have TIME to wait 2 or 3 weeks for normal passport expediting...

In order to do second day passports they need to raise $990.

They are about $330 short right now.

I'm sure they could use more than the $990 too...

They will also have to get new notarizations and apostilles...

Then there are the electronics...

Can you help?

Can you spare at least a small donation so sweet Tanner won't have to wait to come home?

I'm sure the family would be ever so grateful!

The link to the family blog post with the chip-in is here.

If you would like more details of what they lost in the robbery click here.

Update!!!

Some friends told Tanner's family about a place where they can hopefully walk in and get their passports within 5 days for about $170 for each passport!!!

They find out on Monday whether this is a possibility to do this.

Tanner's Mama sent a e-mail to everyone who donated through the chipin../

She was so blessed and moved by the support given.

The only thing she was raising money for was the passports...

So if it turns out that they are able to get the passports for the cheaper price, she has graciously offered to give everyone a full refund.

Here is a post telling the story:

Absolutely Speechless

Tanner's Mama wanted all the supporters to be able to read it so they could know the updated information!

Thanks for your prayers for this family!!!

Even if they are able to get the cheaper passport, they still need prayers for all the paperwork...

As well as prayers for God to protect them from identity theft....

Return of important papers and other stolen items if possible...

.

Vacation?!?!?!

Guess What?

I've decided you are to have a one week vacation!!!!

Starting as soon as you finish reading this blog post!!!

(OK, I don't really have the authority to give you a vacation -- but bare with me!)

Before you begin...

Here are the rules:

1. You are not to go to work.

2. You are not to do any housework...

No cooking or dishwashing...

No sweeping or vacuuming...

No cleaning the bathroom...

No laundry...

No work AT ALL!!!

Sound good?

So, what would you like to do for your vacation?

Go to the beach?

Or hiking or skiing in the mountains?

Or site seeing in a new city?

Go on a cruise?

Before you get too excited about you plans for your surprise vacation...

I better tell you more of the rules...

3. You must NOT leave your room...

4. You must stay in bed the WHOLE time...

(Yes ALL week long!!!)

5. No, you may not have a book to read...

6. No, you may not use the computer, an I-pod, an I-pad, or a cellphone...

7. No, there will be no TV or radio...

Here's what you CAN do...

I'll hang a clock by your bed...

Feel free to count how many times the second hand goes around the circle each day!

(That should keep you occupied!)

You can count your fingers!

(That won't take long...)

You can look at the ceiling...

Or the wall on the right...

Or the wall on the left...

For as long as you like!!!

And, to make life more interesting...

Instead of your room...

You'll get to spend your vacation in a large room...

With many, many beds...

These beds will be filled with sick and hurting, lonely people...

Like you, they will have nothing to do...

But groan & cry in frustration, pain, boredom, and loneliness...

What!!!!

You don't want your vacation?

You'd rather work hard, clean the bathroom, do laundry and wash dishes?

Well, you can breathe a sigh of releif!!!!

I won't make you take such a "vacation!"

I wouldn't, even if I could.

It would be torture rather than a vacation!

In comparison, all that work sounds so much better!

But while we have the PRIVILEGE of doing chores...

Many INNOCENT people...

Who deserve it no more than we do...

Have the unenviable opportunity to do NOTHING.

They have NO opportunity to do the fun things on our favorite vacation list.

Not even the common, everyday things...

Like visiting the grocery store to buy something good to eat...

Reading a book...

Or playing with a puppy...

This is not a one-week vacation for Victoria...

and Emmitt...

It's not "optional" either!

It is their LIFE...

Day after day...

Year after year...

With NO end in sight!

Where, oh WHERE is their Mama & Papa?

Who will save them from this most miserable vacation?

Please pray they will be delivered from their life sentence...

Of doing nothing for the rest of their life!

Pray that someone will be brave enough...

To step out and rescue these kids...

Trusting God to provide every need!

You can read more about Victoria and Emmitt or donate to their grant funds by clicking on their names!

Janna

Janna...

Isn't she sweet!

She looks so peaceful and relaxed...

Like she's waiting for her Mama to come tuck her in for the night!

Maybe she's waiting for her bedtime story...

I'm not sure what the full extend of her medical condition is -- her profile says she has a congenital brain anomaly.

I don't know that means for her or what her current capabilities are...

But imagine what love and prayers can do!

She looks intelligent in her picture...

Who knows what she may learn and accomplish if someone will give her the chance!

If she is not adopted ...

She will probably spend her life in bed...

Where is her Mama?

"I'm waiting for my bedtime story!

Please come soon Mama!

I'm ready for my hugs and goodnight kiss!"

Sweet Janna has $0.00 in her grant fund:(

Can you help?

Gerri's Miracle! -- Sharing Sunday

Do you believe in Miracles?

This is Gerri in the orphanage -- they are telling her about her new Mama.

They asked her if she wanted this lady to be her Mama.

Her Response?

Here is where she spent her days.

Picture with her Mama!

At home with siblings!

Before Casting Treatment

First Casts!

Many Casts Later!

Look at her now!!!

Dancing with her sister!
Ready for school!

What a beautiful miracle!

The pictures say a lot!

If you'd like to read more of her story, click on the pictures...

You will be taken to her family's blog where you can read about her and her lovely family!

Now...

I'm thinking of another precious angel who needs a miracle like this!

Victoria has the same condition as Gerri.

But she has no family to love and encourage her...

And she has not had opportunity to receive treatment so she can learn to walk...

She spends her days in bed...

In a MENTAL institute!

(Children with her condition usually have NORMAL intelligence!)

She's still waiting for her miracle!

I have no giveaway going for her at this time...

But I'd love to see her grant fund GROW!

You can be part of Victoria's Miracle by...

Praying for her!

Sharing her story!

And donating if you can!
