Dear Victoria...

You are a beautiful girl!

I'm so glad you smiled for the camera!!!

Maybe it will help your Mama notice how beautiful you are...
.
Maybe it will capture her heart...

and she will realize she has an empty place in her heart...

that only you can fill!

You are a treasure, made and loved by God.

Your Mama doesn't know what she is missing!

Perhaps she has not seen your face yet...

But when she does...

(May it be soon!)

I hope she sees the wonderful potential God put inside you...

To be a loving daughter...

A compassionate friend...

An inspiration...

As you strive to be all that you can be...

Despite the odds!

Never give up!!!!

God sees you, and loves you, and is working in your behalf!!!

Just recently He made it possible for you to have your own grant fund on Reece's Rainbow!

Since you are over 6 years old, this was not possible until recently.

But now...

You can have your own grant fund until you turn ten!

Thankfully you are not yet nine...

So we have over a year...

(I pray it won't take that long!)

to raise funds especially for you!

Right now, your fund is very, very small...

(Remember the saying, "Great Oaks from small acorns grow?")

When I first saw your grant...

It had $5...

Now it has $10

It's small...

But its a start...

And I pray that it will grow and Grow, and GROW!!!

So that your Mama will not have to stress about the money...

But just focus on the other adoption details (and their are many!!!)

So that she can get to YOU as fast as possible!

In case she's reading this...

I'll post your picture once again...

To give you one more chance...

To capture her heart!!!

Transferred and BEDRIDDEN for LIFE???!!!

Transferred!

What a terrible word!

Igor is a lovely young man.

He will be 7 years old in November.

His profile describes him as "very loving and affectionate and friendly!"

Igor was born with Arthrogryposis -- a condition that affects his legs and feet.

This condition has prevented him from learning to walk...

BUT...

With medical treatment including casts, therapy, and surgery...

Perhaps he could learn to walk.

Sadly, Igor was born in a place where children with disabilities are put in orphanages...

Where they are not able to receive all the therapies they need...

Where they don't have a Mama & Papa to give them love & encouragement no matter what.

Even worse...

When the children get older -- usually 4 or 5 years old ...

They are transferred to mental institutions...

EVEN if their disability is only a PHYSICAL one!

Igor was blessed to stay in his baby house until he was over 6 years old...

But his time ran out!

Now he has been transferred...

Where he will be BEDRIDDEN FOR LIFE!!!!

Can you imagine?

This INTELLIGENT young man...

Sitting or lying in bed...

With nothing to do...

For the rest of is life?

How long can he stand it?

He has so much potential!

He could go to school...

He could play with siblings...

And it's possible he could learn to walk.

He could be a son...

A grandson...

He could do and be so much...

If he just had a chance!

But now he must stay in bed...

For hours and hours...

For days and days...

For years and years...

With NO END IN SIGHT!!!!

His only hope?

If a family chose him...

If they decided to adopt him into their own family...

If they made him their son...

He could get out of that bed...

And have the joy and pleasure of the freedom that most of us take for granted.

Is he YOUR son?

Find out how to adopt here.

Could you help his Mama find him?

Share his picture and his story today!

Igor (35)

BOY, Born November 26, 2004
HELP, I'VE ALREADY BEEN TRANSFERRED!
This handsome young man is another of a growing number of children who were born with arthrogryposis.
His hands seem to be unaffected, but he is unable to walk at this time. He is described as very loving and affectionate and friendly!
Igor is facing the institution and will remain bedridden for the rest of his life…he needs a family like you!
Donations will be accepted for this child when further information is received.

Please Pray!

God knows who his Mama is...

And He can help her find him.

Pray she finds him SOON!

Igor is not the only one living in such dismal circumstances...

My precious Victoria and Emmitt...

(Woo Hoo!!! She can have her OWN grant fund now!!!! Can you help to fill it?
Even $1 or $2 helps!!! They all add up!!!)

Have been waiting out their days in an institution...

For a long time...

Please pray for them too!

And, before I close...

I want to add one more lovely young lady to this list!

Meet Yasmine!

This sweet girl has cerebral palsy.

It is difficult for her to walk...

But she is trying hard to get around!

Her profile says she is "a walking sunshine"!

It also says...

"Let's find a family for her FAST!!!
PLEASE HELP! TRANSFER IMMINENT!!"

This lovely girl doesn't have much time left before she too...

Will be TRANSFERRED!

She now has her own grant fund too...

but it says:

$0.00 is available towards the cost of my adoption!

Two in less than seven days!

Wow!

Two of my kids were found in one weeks time!

First Genesis!

Leaving the institution to go home with a family of her OWN!

Pray that it will be soon!

I'm sure her family would be delighted for any help you can give with the finances!

Currently she has $47.50 in her fund.

Sweet, beautiful and MUCH - loved Marissa!

This sweetie, who has been crying to come home...

Has had at least TWO Mama's wanting her!

Soon you will be able to go to your very OWN home Marissa!

To donated to Marissa's grant fund click here.

Marissa has $383 in her fund right now.

Please pray for comfort for the Mama who found Marissa was already taken before she was able to commit to her!
Though happy that Marissa will have a home, I know she is disappointed not to not to have the privilege of being her Mama!

If only it were true!!!!

I dreamed a lovely dream last night...

(If only it were true!!!)

I dreamed I opened up my eyes...

and you were standing there!

I was so shocked my heart nearly stopped!

My breath caught in my throat!

You scooped me up and held me close...

and kissed me o're and o're.

Sweet words within my ear you spoke

you held my little hand...

You snuggled me and cuddled me

and oh! it felt so right...

And then, oh grief! I did awake

and it was just a dream!

The walls were bleak

the room was cold

my stomach growled at me...

I shivered in the cold that night

and was so all alone

save for the moans and groans

which on my ear did fall

from other kids who just like me

were suffering in the dark.

Oh Mama where are you?

My heart for you does cry!

and every time I open my eyes

I hope to see your face!

Please, oh please come and get me soon

this place is oh so drear!

Please take me home to live with you

and comfort all my fears

and never never leave again

oh please be always near!

It need not be a mansion house

all I want is you!

If I but have sweet love and you

my heart will finely rest!

I'll breathe a sigh of sweet relief

and lay my head upon your chest.

Oh, Mama hold me tight so I will really know

that it is you and that you'll never go!

That I may wake and see your face

and know it's not a dream!

Please, oh please do come quickly!

I've waited oh so long!

My heart is nearly fainting now

My hope is almost gone!

I'm starving, sick & so worn out

I cannot wait much longer!

I'll try to hope a few more days

that maybe yet you'll come!

And when you come do hug me close

and make my dream come true!

If you would like more information about any of these dear waiting children...

Please click their picture or their name and you will be taken to their Reece's Rainbow page!

Most of these children have grant funds you can donate to if you are able!

The next face I see...

When I was born...

There was no joy...

For my parents were told...
In words grave and cold...

He'll never get better....

He'll never walk...

She'll never learn...

He'll never talk...

This case is quite hopeless...

She's useless you see...

The child is broken...

Better give him away...

The baby house is the best place for children like this...

And when she gets older...
To the institution she'll go...

It's the only option...
We can't make him well.

He's not worth the trouble...
and heartache he'd be...

It would cost too much...

Love would never be enough...

To fix this poor child...
So give him away...

And get on with your life...
It's the only way -- just accept it.

And so with great grief they bid me farewell...

But the doomsayers were wrong!
Of this I am sure!

For I know I have feelings...
and thoughts to be sure...

And I think I could learn if I just had a chance...

I think I could talk...

and perhaps even walk...

If I had the therapy...
And encouragement I need...

I think I could read...
If you'd just teach me how...

And Oh my hear YEARNS...
For the love I have missed...

I may be slower...

Or broken in some way...

But I still have a heart...
and I still long for love...

And if only you'll love me...
and give me a chance...

I'm sure I'll surprise you...
With what I can do...

And fill you with joy...
and laughter...
and love...

Oh please, please consider...
My need and my plight...

And pray that my Mommy will find me tonight!

And if perchance...
My Mommy you are...

Please, oh please come quickly...
Before it's too late...

Until then I'll wait...
and hope every day...

That the next face I see...
will be yours!
